Notes:
Military:
Unfortunately (or fortunately) Geddie Thomas PEARSE was not involved in the original landing at ANZAC Cove as he was admitted suffering from pneumonia to hospital about a month before the landing. He landed on 26 May 1915 and apart from some time recovering from wounds and illness at Mudros he appears to have been on site until the evacuation. It appears that he was wounded at least twice during his service in the AIF. On 10 Mar1916 he was transferred to being a driver instead of a machine gunner. Lest We Forget.
Geddie married WYATT Ivy Edmonds 1920, VIC. Ivy was born 24 Aug 1894, Balham, South London LND; died 11 Apr 1976, Warrnambool VIC; was buried 1976, Donald Cemetery, Donald VIC. [Group Sheet]
