Some doubt must exist as to the parentage of both of the children of Marjorie PALMER (m.n. HEARD). Daughter Betty Doreen PALMER just might have been the legitimate daughter of David Henry PALMER when the dates and times of travel to Gallipoli are considered. However, Harold Heard PALMER was born 4.5 years after the death of David Henry PALMER at Gallipoli, so it can be conclusively stated that he was the result of another union.

Marjorie married PALMER David Henry MON. David (son of PALMER George Daniel and RICHARDS Eliza Jane) was born 5 May 1892, Newport MON; died 13 Aug 1915, Gallipoli Peninsula, Turkey; was buried Aug 1915, Twelve Tree Copse Cemetery, Gallipoli, Çanakkale, Turkey. [Group Sheet]
