The Plymouth Naval Memorial is a war memorial in Plymouth, Devon, England which is dedicated to British and Commonwealth sailors who were lost in World War I and World War II with no known grave. 7,251 sailors of the First World War and 15,933 of the Second World War are commemorated on this impressive monument.
The name of No. 269958, Chief Engine Room Artificer 2nd Class, Leslie NORGROVE who perished on HMS 'Defence' during the Battle of Jutland on 31 May 1916 appears on this monument. Lest We Forget.
