The Canadian National Vimy Memorial near Vimy, Pas-de-Calais, Hauts-de-France, FRA. Without doubt the most beautiful monument on the Western Front. Dedicated to the memory of the Canadian Expeditionary Force members killed during WWI. It also serves as the place of commemoration of Canadian WWI soldiers who are presumed dead and have no known grave. Unfortunately, Charles BALL (1899-1917) was one of those soldiers. Lest We Forget. |
