Welcome to my web site which comes to you from the suburb of Marshall in the city of Geelong in the state of Victoria in Australia. Over many years a large amount of work has been done in the research and documentation of the 28,240 individuals in 9,223 families who can be found on this web site. If you would like to add or correct any information please contact me using the Webmaster link at the bottom of this page. I recommend that you access the surname of interest by using the Surnames link at the right of this page or by carrying out a Search or Advanced Search using the appropriate links.

This web site will always be a work in progress to which information will be regularly added over time. The current count of headstone images on this site is 2,274; of images of people is 456 and of documents the count is 187. Over time these numbers will increase steadily.

On this web site countries, counties, regions, states and provinces are where possible, identified using Chapman Codes. This system was created by the British historian, Dr. Colin R. Chapman MA FSG, in the 1970s, and as intended, it provides a widely used shorthand method of describing regions in terms of the counties, regions, states and provinces existing in the 19th. and 20th. centuries.

The data displayed in these pages has been collected and stored using the English family history program Family Historian V7.0.8.2 written and sold by Calico Pie Limited. I highly recommend this program as it is easily understood and regularly updated both with free upgrades and more comprehensive major upgrades.
